Zingaya offers FREE Flash based Click-to-Call widget for your website [Video Review and Giveaway]

Whether you own a personal blog or a huge e-commerce website, one of the key objectives is to increase interaction with your visitors. While you can have a contact form or provide an email address for your visitors to get in touch with you, these may not be the most optimal solutions. Most consumers will not want to put in efforts required to write an email or fill up the contact form, thereby reducing your chances to profit from the interaction. This is especially true, if you use your website to sell your products or services. Today, we review Zingaya, a web-based service that allows your website visitors to call you with a click of a button.

What is Zingaya?

Zingaya is a web-based service that provides widgets that you can embed in your website. Your website visitors can then call you using this widget, right from your website. You can choose to receive calls on your landline, mobile phone, Skype or SIP phone. Your visitors do not have to download or install any software, all they need is a browser and a microphone. Zingaya works across all major browsers. A Zingaya call widget looks like the one below (feel free to use this button to get in touch with me).

How much does Zingaya Cost?

There are two cost components to using Zingaya, viz. plan charges and usage charges. Plan charges are fixed based on the plan that you select. Zingaya has three plans to suit your requirements – Free ($0 per day), Standard ($1 per day), Advanced ($2 per day). Needless to say, you get more options and control with the paid plans. You can get more details on the plans here. Read on to find out how you can get an Advanced plan for FREE…

Zingaya Plans

Usage charges depend on how you use Zingaya. Forwarding calls to Skype or SIP phone is free of charge, but if you decide to receive calls on regular landline or mobile phone, you will incur charges depending on your location. You can find the exact rates to your number here.

Thus, if you are a small blogger or want to try Zingaya, you can start using their services for FREE. Choose the FREE plan and forward the calls to Skype or SIP.

Zingaya – Key Features

Zingaya is an extremely easy to set up. Just login to the Zingaya website, configure your click-to-call widget and use the code to insert the widget in your website.

Unlike any other click-to-call provider, Zingaya lets you configure your own SIP account so that you can forward calls using your SIP account rather than through Zingaya. The following video tutorial provides a detailed walkthrough of Zingaya’s key features.

To Zingaya or not?

I have been testing Zingaya for some time and have been quite happy with its performance. The service is extremely simple to deploy and use, but very powerful at the same time. If you have a personal blog, you can get started with the Free Plan. But, if you are planning to use Zingaya on a professional website, I would recommend using the Standard or Advanced plan (just to have more control). Here are some good reasons for you to give Zingaya a try:

  1. Your visitors do not have to provide their phone numbers making them more comfortable to initiate a dialog.
  2. Visitors do not incur any charges in making calls, encouraging them to initiate calls.
  3. Zingaya is available to users all over the world. Visitors can call irrespective of where they (or you) are located. However, in case you want to prevent calls from certain countries (may be because you are not operating in those countries), you can control that.
  4. If you prefer not to, you do not have to provide your phone number.
  5. Your visitors can call you if they have any questions or clarifications and provide you an opportunity to address their queries in real time, increasing chances of sale.
  6. Since Zingaya relies on “pull” approach (visitors initiating a dialog) rather than you “pushing” your message, it is an effective mode of communication.
  7. Finally, since your visitors can speak to a “human” directly, they are likely to trust your services/brand as compared to others.

If you are a website owner, there is no reason for you to not try Zingaya. Despite its simplicity, Zingaya seems to be a fairly powerful platform and will be able to satisfy your requirements. If you are not sure about its utility, I would suggest that you start with the free plan.
